This flexible arrangement for elementary players was written for the Profile Night 30 festival in 2008. That performance featured approximately 180 young musicians from the Greater New York area. The piece can be presented as an instrumental solo, duet or double band feature. The music is based on the tune Ascalon (“Fairest Lord Jesus”) but quotes respectfully from the march Crusaders by Sir Dean Goffin.
