A Christmas Fanfare was written in 2002 for the New York Staff Band of The Salvation Army. It is based on the Christmas carol Joy to the World. Originally scored for four trumpets and four trombones, this lively fanfare reflects the joy evident in the carol at the birth of the Savior.
