Forever was written at the request of Commissioners Hedgren for the Sunday morning service at Commissioning. They asked specifically for these two melodies, the chorus “Channels Only” and the worship song “Forever God is Faithful”. The melodies are woven together in a tapestry of worship celebrating the faithfulness of our God.

Channels only, blessed Master,
But with all Thy wondrous power
Flowing through me, Thou canst use me
Every day and every hour.
