Throughout the centuries scripture has inspired the arts and the New York Staff Band’s worship experience Creation is exactly that with an artful mixture of music, prose, scripture and video to stir your imagination to bring scripture to life. This production causes you to consider the limitlessness of God’s work in creating the world and all its glory.
Creation opens with “In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth” which sets the tone for you to imagine God putting his handiwork in motion.
Day one God speaks the words “Let there be light” and this piece by Dorothy Gates, invites the listener into the mystery of creation. God not only brings the light, but we are also swept away by the fact that he is the light.
